A few years ago, a documentary about traditional Chinese jewelry sparked something in me. I was amazed by the craftsmanship and the stories behind each piece – and I wondered: why can't this beauty be part of everyday life?

So I started learning jewelry design from scratch. I traveled to Dali and Jingdezhen, met master artisans, and studied ancient techniques like filigree and cloisonné.

Mayite is the result of that journey. I take timeless Eastern elements – a dewdrop, a bamboo leaf, a full moon – and shape them into simple, modern designs that you can wear every day.
